
The yearly national event for the Meat Goat Society is the Midwest Buck Sale. Held yearly in Sedalia, Missouri, the Midwest Buck Sale provides an opportunity for all meat goat breeders to come together to share ideas, knowledge, learning experiences, and genetics.
Large and small breeders alike will find value in the discussions between breeders during the round table discussions.
There are free speakers each day beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Topics include, nutrition, feeding whole grains and by-products, foot trimming, rib-eye and loin ultra sound techniques, and much more.
Each year a Boer Goat Course is taught by two or more high level, Senior judges from America, South Africa, or Australia. The opportunity to provide top level judges that are wonderful instructors, provides a fantastic learning opportunity for breeders across the USA.
