Youth Members have access to the Meat Goat Society website information and may register their goats in the herd book.
BREEDER MEMBERSHIP
Breeder Members have access to the Meat Goat Society membership and pedigree information. Breeder Members must purchase a Herd Book Number.
HERD BOOK NUMBER
Breeder Members are required to purchase a Herd Book Number to input pedigree data into the database.
Breeder Members must select a farm name and a herd prefix to co-inside with their assigned Herd Book Number. This information does not change.
When you join please have this information:
- Username: Select an email
- Select a Farm/Ranch Name
- Select a Herd Prefix
- Herd Book Number is assigned at time of submitting the information.
This information is always attached to your member account and will not change.

CERTIFICATE OF STUD
Stock that is inspected may advance to stud in the pedigree herd book. These animals are issued a certificate that is part of their record to show they have passed inspection.
The stock inspection process is easy.
