Thom Hacker has some great production stock and wether kids for the 4-H & FFA shows. He is in Cloverdale, Indiana, just west of Indianapolis. It’s always a great time to stop by and see Thom.

Double L-T Farms: We are located in West Central Indiana on I-70 between Indianapolis and Terra Haute.

I have been raising Boer type goats for 12 yrs. I started with a hand full of commercial does and now home to 40+ head of commercial and percentage goats.    Our motto here is a goat has to be a goat, free range and minimal inputs to be cost effective.

We breed just once a year for the 4-H market and a few replacement does. Our bucks are 100% ABGA registered to use for the betterment of building our herd and striving to improve on our quality along the way.

Life Time of Experience: I was a 10yr 4-H member and remembering what it was like trying to afford a project for the year. The kids are the biggest reason I produce goats at an affordable price for them to have a chance at learning a skill and a responsibility of being a fellow herdsman or herdswoman.

Everyday I meet more of a fantastic group of like minded families wanting to enjoy the farm life of goats! The smiles are make it worth it!!

Working with the youth and watching them grow.

The Meat Goat Society helps members advertise and promote their stock. Maintains a member/client database for the breeders, so they may record their stock data, print a pedigree certificate for the stock in their herd, at will, and produce a complete composite pedigree for cross bred stock they may create. At the same time, the breeder may record a variety or specific data about their stock.
